Every sofa we build shares the same engineering philosophy: a frame that will not creak, suspension that will not sag, foam that will not collapse and covers that will not wear — assembled and inspected as one system.
Kiln-Dried Hardwood Frames
Frames are cut from kiln-dried hardwood with moisture content held below 12% — no warping, cracking or creaking in export climates. Corner blocks, double dowels and steel brackets reinforce every joint. Frames are 100,000-cycle tested: sit, stand, repeat.
Suspension Systems
Sinuous (zig-zag) springs in 4.0 mm hardened steel are clipped to the frame at precise tension, then eight-way hand-tied in select models. Elastic webbing supports back cushions. The result: even support that keeps its shape for years instead of sagging into a hammock.
High-Resilience Foam
Seat cushions use high-resilience (HR) polyurethane foam from 30 to 40 kg/m³ density — the grade hotels specify — wrapped in feather or fiber blends for a plush top layer. Gel memory-foam toppers on recliner models add pressure relief for long sessions.
Top-Grain & Full-Aniline Leather
Leather models use top-grain cowhide, 1.2–1.4 mm thick, with full-hide cuts on seating surfaces. Finishes range from hand-rubbed aniline for a natural patina to pigmented protection for heavy commercial use. Every hide is inspected for scars and grain consistency before cutting.
Martindale-Rated Fabrics
Fabric covers are woven from solution-dyed polyester and tested to 60,000–80,000 Martindale abrasion cycles — well above residential standards. Options include double-face weaves, linen looks and stain-resistant tech fabrics, all with removable, machine-washable covers on modular models.
Tested Mechanisms & Motors
Recliner and sofa-bed mechanisms are steel, rated for 150 kg per seat, and cycle-tested 20,000–50,000 times before release. Power models use dual-motor 24 V DC drives with anti-pinch sensors, quiet operation under 45 dB and world-voltage 110–240 V power supplies.
